A huge moon rises behind the silhouette of a tortured, twisted tree.
This is an Oil Monotype. It is a one of a kind art print. The image is painted quickly with oil paint on glass. I carefully lay a piece of Stonehenge Printing Paper onto the wet image. Next, I rub a hard rubber brayer over the back of the paper, transferring the image onto the paper. I only do one print. I never pull a ghost print. ( a second much lighter print.) I never go back into the print with paint or pastels to enhance it. They are pure. Monotypes are fun to do because you never know how they will come out and there is no way to control the final product! I was extremely happy with this one!
